Operational and Support Cost (O&S)

O&S cost includes all direct and indirect costs associated with operations and maintenance.

It includes:

  • Consumables such as fuel and oil
  • Piece cost required to procure components/system (labor & materials)
  • Maintenance of equipment/(s)
  • Storage cost associated with inventory, finished product, etc.

These costs typically are recurring cost.
